Hold up, Umble Nation! We’ve got another star in our Umble Reserve lineup, and trust us, you’re gonna want to get your hands on this one. As you know, our Reserve series is all about those limited-batch roasts we find on our coffee scavenger hunts. When they’re gone, they're gone for good.
This time, we're heading back to Colombia for a light medium roast that we think is pretty cool - it's processed just like beer is. It's a cool experiment and a fun coffee to taste.
It's an anaerobic process. We're picking up notes of apricot, barley, and chocolate. You can smell it when you grind the beans, but the flavor really punches through in the cup. It's pretty funky. We also get tobacco and raisin notes.
