Meet Prologue, a naturally processed Colombian coffee that is bright, sweet, and a little unexpected—in the best possible way. With juicy notes of apricot and raspberry and a candy-like pop of Pink Starburst, this coffee is a reminder that coffee can taste like a whole lot more than “just coffee.”

Grown in Huila, Colombia, by the Vargas family at 1,800 MASL, Prologue is the beginning of a pretty great story.

Here’s the coffee nerd part, but we’ll keep it fun and story-worthy: “natural process” means the coffee bean dries inside the whole coffee cherry before the fruit is removed. That extra time with the fruit helps create the bold sweetness and fruit-forward flavor you’ll find in this cup.

Think of it this way: washed coffees tend to be clean and crisp; naturally processed coffees often bring a little more jam, candy, and fruit to the party. That’s where Prologue gets its juicy apricot, raspberry, and Pink Starburst energy.

If you're looking for a more fruit-forward cup, we'd recommend a Kalita Wave pour over, but if you're looking for a more savory cup, we'd reommend a V60 pour over. Either way, Prologue, just like the movie or book version, should be a great way to begin your day's story.
