Smooth. Steady. Ready when you are.

Cold brew doesn’t need to be complicated.

The Hario Mizudashi Cold Brew Coffee Maker makes it easy to brew a clean, refreshing batch right in your refrigerator — no extra filters, no special equipment, no guesswork.

Just coffee, water, time, and a little patience.

How We Brew It

As a starting point:

  • 8–10 grams of coffee
  • Medium-coarse grind
  • Per 100ml of water

Let it steep in the refrigerator for about 8 hours. Serve over ice.

From there, adjust the ratio based on your coffee, your grinder, and your preference. Some coffees shine brighter at lower ratios. Others deepen beautifully with more concentration.

Cold brew is forgiving — which makes it a great place to experiment.

Why we love the Mizudashi

The built-in mesh filter eliminates the need for paper filters. Grounds stay contained, and cleanup stays simple.

The elegant glass pitcher allows you to brew and store in the same vessel — making it practical for daily use and easy to pour.

Designed for consistency and clarity, it delivers a smooth cup with low acidity and natural sweetness.

Today, their coffee equipment reflects that same commitment to precision, restraint, and longevity.
