TL;DR

Front Runner is your everyday single-origin Colombian medium roast: smooth, comforting, and more interesting than the standard house-coffee routine. From high-elevation Nariño, it brings graham cracker, toffee, and marshmallow sweetness to the cup.

GRAHAM CRACKER    TOFFEE    MARSHMALLOW

The classic house-coffee feeling, only way better.

Meet Front Runner, our flagship medium roast from Colombia. It has the cozy, familiar flavor you want first thing in the morning, with graham cracker, toffee, and marshmallow notes that keep every cup from feeling ordinary.

This is the coffee you reach for before school drop-off, a big meeting, or a slow morning on the couch. Easy to love, easy to brew, and still full of a story worth telling.

STORIES WORTH TELLING

HIGH ELEVATION

Front Runner grows in Colombia's Nariño region at 1,500 to 2,200 meters above sea level. Up there, cooler mountain temperatures slow the coffee cherry's maturation, giving it more time to develop sugars and complexity before harvest.

That is why elevation matters. It is not just a number on the bag. It helps explain how a coffee can taste so smooth and familiar while still carrying a little extra depth and sweetness.

WASHED PROCESS

After harvest, Front Runner's coffee cherries are depulped and washed before the seeds are dried. This washed process clears away the fruit early, helping the coffee's clean, balanced character shine through.

In the cup, that clarity lets the comforting notes do their thing: graham cracker warmth, toffee sweetness, and a soft marshmallow finish. No added flavoring, just careful coffee processing and roasting.

NARIÑO, COLOMBIA

Every great coffee story needs a setting. For Front Runner, it is Nariño, a high-elevation region in Colombia where this coffee begins long before it reaches your kitchen counter.

The result is a cup that proves everyday coffee does not have to be boring. It can be approachable, dependable, and still connected to a real place and the people who grow it.

BREW IT YOUR WAY

Whether you brew a quick pot, make a pour-over, or pull an espresso shot, Front Runner is built for your daily routine. We love it so much that it's the coffee we use for espresso at Umble HQ.
