The Roaster's Crow (our OG logo) is honestly a spin off the 'rooster's crow' in the Bible. If you know the story, Jesus told Peter he would deny him three times before the rooster crowed. The rooster is not a symbol of shame or failure as much as it's a symbol of awakening and hope. It represents truth cutting through comfort, a call to humility, and the mercy of God arriving when we're insufficient. The rooster doesn't accuse Peter...it simply announces the dawn...it announces a hope. In Umble's case, it's not a rooster but a crow, which fits classically with our origins in the southern United States. We see our 'Roaster's Crow' as a symbol of awakening and hope. It's a reminder for us to source, roast, and serve of community in the absolute best way we can - to give of ourselves for a greater calling. ...Deep, right? But otherwise, why are we here anyway?
