TL;DR
A medium-roast, single-origin decaf from Huila, Colombia, with chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut in every cup. It is coffee for slowing down—without giving up the flavor that makes the ritual worth keeping.
CHOCOLATE • CARAMEL • HAZELNUT
Good coffee does not need to be an all-day adrenaline sport.
Meet Downshift, Umble’s flagship decaf: a smooth Colombian coffee built for the moments when you want the comfort of a real cup without making caffeine the main event. It is rich, easygoing, and proof that decaf is no longer the compromise pick.
Chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut give this medium roast the kind of warmth that belongs after dinner, during a late conversation, or whenever the day calls for a gentler gear.
STORIES WORTH TELLING
HUILA, COLOMBIA
Downshift begins in Huila, Colombia, a region known on the label for elevations from 1,400 to 2,000 MASL. It is a single-origin coffee with a real place behind it—not a generic backup plan for people avoiding caffeine.
That origin gives Downshift more than a pin on a map. It gives the cup a story that starts with Colombian coffee and ends in the simple pleasure of lingering a little longer over a mug.
DECAF, WITHOUT THE APOLOGY
Decaf has spent too long being treated like coffee’s red-headed cousin at the family reunion. Downshift changes the conversation with a cup that is full of actual coffee character: sweet caramel, familiar chocolate, and a rounded hazelnut finish.
This is not a consolation prize. It is a deliberate choice for when you want coffee’s flavor, aroma, and pause button—whether that is after lunch, after dinner, or simply later than usual.
WASHED & MEDIUM ROAST
The washed process and medium roast give Downshift a polished, approachable profile. Nothing has to shout here: the coffee is balanced enough to drink black and welcoming enough to make room for your favorite addition.
BREW IT YOUR WAY
Downshift is a single cup after dinner, a French press on the table, or a freshly brewed pot for company that is not ready to call it a night. Brew it the way you relax best.
